As part of the firm’s due diligence process, Nate incorporates his innate ability to grasp innovative and disruptive technologies and assess their commercial viability and profitability. His technological prowess has proven particularly invaluable when working with early-stage ventures in aiding in their development, from design and conceptualization to implementation and commercialization. This amalgam of skills has provided the TwinFocus investment team with a truly competitive advantage in screening and identifying investment candidates with asymmetric payoff profiles that complement existing portfolio of direct investments.

BACKGROUND


Nate is the founder of the online fundraising platform, Fundraise.com, as well as the founder of CellInfo, a portfolio management and analytics software platform to the mobile communications tower industry. Nate’s entrepreneurial efforts have resulted in tens of millions of dollars raised for nonprofits, technologically and single-handedly powering a very successful gubernatorial campaign, creation of analytical software used by one of the world’s largest companies, and consummation of over 200 real estate transactions.

Nate is a graduate of Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire and taught himself computer programming at an early age.

Nate is constantly thinking about identifying and eradicating inefficiencies in established industries through the opportunistic and creative use of technology, while simultaneously uncovering ways of incrementally transforming the world into a safer, happier, more productive place. Nate has experience working overseas as well as domestically and lives on the waterfront in Charlestown, Massachusetts.
