Salvador J. Juncadella, IV is Director of Business Strategy for TwinFocus, where he plays an integral role in helping the Executive Management team explore expansion opportunities into new markets.

HISTORY


Prior to joining TwinFocus, Salvador was a Senior Portfolio & Research Analyst at BigSur Partners, a multi-family office based in Miami, FL. In this role, he was actively involved across all investment-decision making, the management of client relationships, and strategic business development initiatives. Salvador helped lead BigSur’s Alternative Investment platform, conducting research and due diligence on over $250 million of client commitments into private equity, private debt, real estate and venture capital strategies.

Before working at BigSur, Salvador held positions with HSBC Private Bank, STRAAT Investments, Acumen Fund, Uber Technologies and Bloomberg Institute.

EDUCATION


Salvador earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management, where he majored in Finance and minored in Art History. At Boston College, Salvador co-founded Consult Your Community and Heights Capital, and was a Board Member of the Latin American Business Club and Entrepreneur Society.

He also completed semester abroad studies at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and attended Belen Jesuit Preparatory School in Miami.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE


Salvador is a first generation American, with roots stemming from Cuba and Colombia. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and is continuing his Portuguese studies. Salvador serves as a Steering Committee Board Member for Young Professionals of the Americas (Americas Society), a forum dedicated to education, debate, and dialogue in the Americas for fostering an understanding of the political, social, and economic issues confronting the region.

Salvador enjoys drawing, painting, collecting and studying art. Following his passion for Latin American and Modern Art, he worked for the McMullen Museum and helped launch Matter & Light Gallery. His other passion includes traveling, considering himself blessed to have had the opportunity to visit over 15 countries across Central and South America, Europe and Asia.
