Firm Operations
Juana provides direct accounting support to the firm’s family office clients by managing their day-to-day bookkeeping and bill pay needs. She is responsible for the entire accounts payable lifecycle, inclusive of preparing bank statement reconciliations, monitoring cash and properly recording client’s fixed assets.
Prior to joining TwinFocus, Juana spent eight years as a corporate accountant across multiple industries handling all the day-to-day bookkeeping needs for those companies. Prior to becoming a corporate accountant, Juana began her career in financial services with Grant Thornton as an auditor performing financial statement audits for both public and private institutions.
Juana graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a B.S. in Accounting and a minor in Spanish.

If you were not working at TwinFocus and you knew you couldn’t fail at whatever you did, what would you do?
If I knew I could not fail, I would travel the world singing gospel music and helping the poor in developing nations.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, cooking, working out, attending church, and traveling to different countries, especially my birth country, the Dominican Republic.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Being part of a collaborative team assisting in a common goal of outstanding client service.

I believe my organizational and teamwork skills help me produce quality work product as an Accounting Associate at TwinFocus.
