Larry’s dedication to TwinFocus covers everything from asset allocation, portfolio risk management and trading to client reporting and portfolio analysis. Larry also serves as a client adviser for select family office and institutional client relationships. He maintains strong focus on the public markets, working to enhance portfolio efficiency, decrease portfolio expenses and eliminate surprises using a mix of passive and high-conviction actively managed strategies—all while shaping the investment narrative for TwinFocus clients. Larry was an early adopter of exchange-traded products and incorporates his longtime focus on asset allocation research into tactical client applications.
Prior to joining TwinFocus in 2010, Larry served in a variety of roles in and around the investment management industry and public accounting. Larry earned his B. S. in business administration from SUNY at Buffalo, with concentrations in accounting, finance and management information systems. He also completed select master-level coursework in mathematical finance at Boston University.
This is the most collaborative environment I’ve ever experienced. With no silos, we cover a lot of ground across teams and disciplines to develop client success, and the ability to flex across different concepts only strengthens our team. We accentuate our team members’ strengths and give them the opportunity to develop new skills.
With a diverse background in public accounting and investment management, I evaluate potential solutions from many angles and uncover new challenges. I dive deep into technical analysis to understand how investment exposures may perform under different environments. Finally, I take pride in my relentless work ethic and pursuit of the best possible client outcomes.
I enjoy being outdoors, whether it’s cycling, at the beach or searing a big ribeye on the grill. I follow quite a few sports, including hockey, football, lacrosse and auto racing. I enjoy traveling with my family, exploring new areas and connecting with what locals enjoy most.
