Tom specializes in managing complex family office relationships by employing a highly interactive, collaborative approach with client families and their professional advisors. He is passionate about working with the firm’s families to help align their wealth objectives with their values while developing better communication, education and decision-making skills across family members.
Tom began his career at The AYCO Company where he focused on providing comprehensive planning for a diverse group of individuals and families. He has also worked for several family office advisors with a focus on providing complex planning solutions to ultra-high-net-worth families. Tom earned his B.S. in economics and finance at Bentley University where he was a member of the Honors Program, and he holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
The best part of my job is the people I get to work with. Because we have such a bright and talented group of people at TwinFocus, it makes for a very collaborative and entertaining environment.
What unique personal skills make you great at your role at TwinFocus?
With the unique families we have an opportunity to work with, I enjoy solving complex and uncommon problems.
If you were not working at TwinFocus and you knew you couldn’t fail at whatever you did, what would you do?
I would want to direct feature films. The idea of being in control of the storytelling process is very interesting to me. Directors have the opportunity to be involved in so many aspects of what eventually becomes an interesting, finished product.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I spend a lot of time outside with my dog, Logan.
